My name is Paula Gilroy.
I live downtown Toronto.(Isabella/Church)
I started my business in 2014 . The reason I started my business is because of a life changing experience which happened in the summer of 2014. I discovered my true calling in life. I pet sat and house sat for a family in the summer of 2014 for 2 months in cabbagetown. When the family came back from vacation they told me that they could not believe how much one of their cats(Min) had become so sociable and just over all improved. That cat was one of the cats I pet sat for the family that summer for two months. I knew then that I had to work with animals. I found my passion. I am very passionate about my business and I tailor my services to each individual client’s pet’s needs. I do this because I want to give the utmost best care to every animal in my care because I am very passionate about animals.
I have obtained a lot of experience since I started my business which has included caring for cats( shy ,timid, anxious, rescue and diabetic) , dogs(anxious, rescue, don’t like walking ,large and small) ,puppies, guinea pigs and a turtle. I currently own a small mixed breed dog . She is a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua/Yorkie/Maltese mix. Christmas of 2015 I puppy sat a 10 week old puppy and my dog was there with the puppy and she was really good with the little puppy. I have owned in the past a Labrador(75 pounds) , Chihuahua (3 pounds) and mixed Chihuahua ( 10 pounds). I am a very patient and easygoing person.I also in 2007 pet sat Oliver a Jack Russel dog who played the role of Toto in the Wizard of Oz show Canada Stage Production. I took him off and on the stage for him to do his part in the play and kept him company between acts off stage.
I have taken course Feline Behaviour and Psychology with Courses for Success . On November 26,2020. I passed my course with distinction and now have A Feline Behaviour and Psychology Diploma. Also taken Understanding Canine Anxiety with Courses for success I passed with distinction on Jamnuary 26,2021 so now I have a Understanding Canine Anxiety Diploma . Took Understanding Feline Anxiety with Courses for success.Took Understanding Feline Anxiety and passed with distinction on February 12,2021 have my Understanding Feline Anxiety Diploma . Took Canine Behaviour Training and received distinction on March 17,2021 on my Diploma Canine Behaviour Training.

During Covid 19 I discovered an interest that I got into which is
making statues of dogs. So far I have made seven statues two of my dog Harmony and two of two different clients’ of mine dogs Millie and Emmy and one of Harmony`s best friend Ridley and 2 other dogs.
